Styer Austria

Styer is one of the best preserved old towns in Austria.  Today, Styer is considered to be the favored tourist spot for globe trotters
Taken in Stadplatz which is the most famous place in Styer. It is the historic town center of the region. The town center has been excellently preserved for several hundred years.

In the center of Stadtplatz, is the tower of Stadtpfarrkirche (parish church). You must go a little way up the hill on the street called the Pfarrgasse to get here. This gothic creation from the 15th century shares the same features with the Stephansdom in Vienna since they were both designed by same architect, Hans Puchsbaum.

Heading north from Stadtplatz is Steyrdorf. In this part of the city, you will find many historical buildings including Saint Michael's Church which was built as a Jesuit Church in 1635.
